Mommy and Me with Dolly Make Three

Abee was a cute little model for this apron. My girls were not wanting to have a picture taken with the apron earlier in the day so we had Haylee and Abigail do the honors. Areeana does a lot better job of taking care of her American Girl doll also so Kit made a good model for the shoot.

I finished.. Thank goodness I finally got the finished Aprons done for my open houses this weekend. I think they look so cute if I do say so myself.

The Crazy Apron Escapade

Well, for those of you that know me you have heard many a story of my bff Haylee. Well, when she said that I needed to add a line of aprons to my store I got to work. I had several failed attempts before getting a pattern I like so here is the doll version. I am not much of a model so I will have good ol' Haylee model for me tomorrow with the child's version and the doll.

Wow, you can't even tell how badly this doll needs to go to the doll hospital for the massive tangle of hair in the back. Now I couldn't even start to take pictures with Aspen's Nikki doll because she really does need to visit the American Girl Doll Hospital. The Mommy and Daughter set are the same as this one though you can actually see the pockets on those. It is amazing that a little doll apron took as long as the two other aprons to make, yet you can't charge as much.... Hmmm.

First Day of School

Emma is always one for cute expressions. She was so excited to get to school that this was taken an hour before we had to leave.

Miss Kristen is one of Emma's Favs. She loves going to her class. This was a picture at orientation. Emma was so excited to wear the Minnie Mouse outfit I made for Aspen and Emma to share. It was a hit for Aspen's picture day as well. Aspen came home and told me they took several pictures of her. Too bad you can't see the cute Minnie Mouse clippies in her hair that well.
Emma told me the other day she was going to wear this outfit when we go to Disneyland and that she wanted a picture taken with Minnie. I guess I had better get busy selling those bows.

So I am a little behind on getting the first day of school posted since Aspen started... woops I guess I did get her first day posted. I am a little out of it. I have been busy working on getting ready for two open houses that I am having at the end of the week. Bows, bows everywhere. Here are some pictures of our cute little Emma on her first day orientation and her first real day at school. She looked as adorable as ever.

My Little Models

I have been working hard at coming up with new items to add to my store and the girls have been such great helpers with the modeling. It is so fun to see them dress in something that I created. Heck, they are just so dang cute.

Dylan was asleep and had just colored herself orange. I don't know what it will take to get her to stop coloring all over herself, the walls, the floors, the tables, the furniture.... anything that is not meant to be colored on. She has started pulling chairs to the counter and climbing up and reaching into the highest cabinets to grab colors for her artwork. She is just too independent.

Emma in Halloween Gear

Here are a couple of pictures of Emma modeling her Halloween Outfit. This is the first attempt at the October Outfit of the month I found a couple of things I want to change for the ones I sell but I think she looks adorable anyway. Th

e clippies have spiders on them for a touch of fun.

Halvorsen Family Reunion

Well, here we are back from a fun weekend of family. We spent the weekend outside of Yellowstone with most of the Gail and Alta Halvorsen clan and missed those that were not able to make it. It was a lot of fun having cousins around to play. Aspen, Emma, and Dylan had a blast spending none-stop time with Kate and Luke and it was great for them to get to know their cousins better. Boyd and I really had a great time with Grant and Susie as well since they were the only siblings along, it allowed us to get to know these two amazing people more and who couldn't fall in love with precocious little Kate and her adventures.

Dylan made up a song after the first night when a dog decided to join us in our cabin. (Grandpa Great stayed with us as well so the girls loved that as well.) The song went had the melody of "Twinkle, Twinkle..." and went, "Aspen, Emma, and Me. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandpa Great. Grandma, Grandpa and the dog." It was so funny to hear her little two-year old voice singing this song and she was so proud.

We got to go River Rafting, minus the White Water and rapids. We spent much time in the water dragging the raft over the gravel underfoot. It was a humerous picture. Who'd have thunk that when the disclaimer said that you would not get your money back due to lack of fun it would me that the water was only an inch high in many areas. We did have fun though and lots of laughs.

It's Official

Just a quick side note since I am so excited. www.momofthreeboutique.com is officially open for business. I am still adding new creations but it has items in there which is a step in the right direction.

Heidi's Wedding July 30, 2008

Heidi is now officially Heidi Johnson. She was such a stunning bride and Craig couldn't keep her eyes off her. Could you blame him? They really do make an amazing couple. The day was perfect for them and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Aspen, Emma, and Dylan enjoyed seeing their cousins (Ivey, Tate, & Beau from Vegas & Kate, Luke, and Kaden from the Salt Lake Area). It was a lot of fun to chase these cuties around all day long, though I was ready to get off my feet at the end of the day.

It was a great day and here is a huge photo album of "some" of the pictures I took. Yes, there is more......

What is better than family?
